It All Started ... in the early 1900's when Anthony Leoni left Italy at the young age of 15 to start a new life in the United States, where rumor had it there were roads paved with gold! Anthony landed in the great melting pot of New York City where he established "Leoni's Dairy" - bringing the old tastes of Italy to the Bronx.
Like Every Italian Family ... Anthony's son Dan kept faithful the hometown Italian tastes with "R&D Deli" located in Blauvelt, NY.
In Keeping With Tradition ... Dan's family expanded the love of Italian cuisine with "Mountain View Deli & Bakery" located in Pomona, NY. They added a full bakery on premise, and still make everything home-made.
Fast forward... to today, where Anthony Leoni's grandson, Chris, ensures every day that "Mt. View Deli, Bakery & Caterers" is still delivering quality food and hometown tastes. Our menus offer healthy alternatives, without any trans fats or hydrogenated oils. Our commitment to quality is what earned us the Boar's Head® Deli of Distinction.
